Coffee With Cold Hands Poem by Angelica Ortiz

Coffee With Cold Hands

My hands stay cold,
I've tried to warm them so many times
But it just won’t work.
And you will just have to do it
For me.

You’re my right kind of coffee

Strong but not too strong.
Enough to keep me awake
And three spoons of sugar
To make yourself taste sweet

I drink coffee with cold hands

Some say it doesnt make any difference
When my hands are always cold.
They never seem to warm up
Not even in the summer

This all may seem cheesy

My words always seem to be about love
But it's not often you fine someone
Like your coffee
And a life like cold hands

Hmmmm...

I'm enjoying my coffee right now
Just like I enjoy you.
