Cold & Heat Poem by George Maritz

Cold & Heat

Rating: 3.5

As I sit here in my big black chair
My half open eyes have just a glare
In this white winter cold
I cannot help, but feel so old
Listening to the quiet sounds outside
It's all worthwhile having you by my side

We don't have to run;
Wait! here is the sun
Having just a little heat
Will give my heart that extra beat
