Cold War Poem by Cardinal Chang

Cold War

I'll always remember that night
Such a starry night
The gun cold on my temple
The steel showered in moonlight
Icy winds against my back
You were to pull the trigger
Supposed to end me there
But I saw it in those tired eyes
I saw your fear
I stood and whispered into your ear
Pull the trigger softly
So no one will hear
