Cold Winter Poem by Serena Heart

Cold Winter

Rating: 4.8

Cold weather, cold body, cold health
Cold winter, cold country, cold wealth
I can't afford to ski I study to survive
I can't afford to play I work hard and I strive
I'm waiting for winter's end for the sun to warm my life
I'm waiting for the blue sky green grass to cure my strife
I'm waiting for a love to thaw my frozen heart from pain
I'm waiting for the day when that sun will rise again

Read your 'Cold Winter' today, when it is summer in my country. Hope it's summer there too. Hope you have got your sun that thaws your frozen heart. Nice poem, conveying the feelings eloquently.
