College: Potentials Poem by Brian Johnston

College: Potentials

How clearly you appear sometimes -
Short, tall, fat, and thin,
Depending on my glimpse of you
And conditions then.

I have no fairer friend than you -
True, false, right and wrong,
Cajoling sense capriciously,
Fading - to grow strong.
