Collision Poem by Saurabh Deshmukh

Collision

Rating: 0.5

On one fine day, my friend collided in me
Between stalactite and stalagmite........
I stared at him;
I saw in his eyes
He kept on pretending to be my friend
And I thought I was Disguised
He walked to me from distant End
Then he opened and asked, 'Who are you? '
And to answer him my words were Few
I was kept in the funny situation
Never been through such a zany hesitation
Now a stranger, he sat in his car
On bright sunny day he drove so far
I just waited till he moved away
Memories flashed like light ray
A pearl went dropping by my cheek
My heart was numb; Lips were meek
It carried an image which was in my memory
And to me it was from my most beloved treasury
Then like a breaking mirror everything shattered
I took a while, got myself composed and gathered
Then came a smile which lasted for hours
Because the tear was mine and the image was yours.
