Colonization Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Colonization

Colonization

You came in piece by piece
Your hand first, last was heel
You stepped on my land
Its helm now, in your hand
You see me as savage
You killed my leverage
You see me as turtle
Always lost in its shell
You are wrong, as always
You judged but never learned
Such judgment is baseless
Baselessness is the shame.
