Colors Poem by Jessica Thomas

Colors

There are colors everywhere
All about colors you may not care
Some are pretty some are light
Some perhaps as dark as night
Colors can mean alot
Still others may not
When blue I'm sad
See red and I'm mad
Green can mean never been kissed
Crimson means I must be pissed
Pale pink is innocent and young
Deep purple a hummingbird's first hum
Yet other colors are just so plain
To name them I would go insane
Humans are like a giant box of crayons
Our differences going back eons
But we are all the same
Because from God we came.
