******Colour Don't Matter

  Skin: smooth grain has texture of a cloudy gray sky –
the different shades reveal the closet of the fine:
skin detail.

The canopy of beauty reflects with bright
light shining upon figures of diverse colour
where in a world…
…colour don’t matter.

The trees blend in, as the branches open,
with separation,
in appears a world of unity
and life to live with a cheer and a whoop
where:
colour don’t matter…
...no more.

I agree. When we look at another person, we should see what is inside and the colour shouldn't matter. Love knows no color. Happy the times when people will be able to meet people and not remember what color they are.

This poem is so sublime and spiritual. From the way the title is worded if could be written by or for a Negro and the last stanza is wonderful. 'It appears a world of unity and life to live with a cheer and a whoop where color don't matter no more'. Excellent! love Karin Top marks
