Treasure Island

Gabriela Duricova

Colours Of The Wind

BLUE chases
Suits, cases
Through the empty streets

Neat, combed hair
Left wild, bare;
A lone paper fleets

GOLDEN shines
Through the vines
And upon ripe rye

Lips in rush
Whispers blush
Floating to the sky

GREEN depicts
Far districts
To sailormen brave

Salty darts
Damage hearts
And souls do enslave

SILVER rings
Upon wings
Of eagles sublime

Mountains cold
Strong and bold
Shake their hands with time

RED relieves
Us from grief
And pain of the past

Gardens calm
And warm palms
Are what's meant to last

PURPLE flares
Just like prayers
In a darkened room

Evening haze
Softens lace
And sweetens perfume
