Come For You Poem by Low Li Ling Jasmine

Come For You

Can you feel my ghostly presence in the core of your heart?
The prayer frozen on your lips
You can't push me away

You kneel and asked me to let you go
But I can't forget the ignore when my hand raised in silent plea

My ghostly whisperings at the side of your ear
Your string of words of litany mantra

A knife punctuated your lie
The eternal darkness swallowed my soul as you finished your grisly task

I won't have to feel afraid anymore
Gain the power, it's time for release
Be silent, darling
As I come for you
