Come Judgement Day... Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

Come Judgement Day...

One Day, black flame will touch the Sun
expiating atoms, time and Life
leaving nothing more or less than this:
nothing BIG...nothing with a BANG;
science had their dog day drama
reinventing evolution...
yet one day, all opinion shall be moot.

Silent War is all we'll see
privleged to witness
from the darkness
'til light returns, much brighter then,
from wence it was but frozen,
within the the Final War,
the Almighty Conclusion
inside a Seal,
the Final Seal;
why be surprised,
don't be surprised
'twas always there
behind the doubting Thomas
mortals tend to mimic.
as mortals do.

Cynical, such holes of black,
premonitions source, Diablios;
Nostradamas never wore a Crown
of thorns over his presaged head!

So all the same, with due respect,
praise, John, the last Evagelist;
I think i'll keep my rosary beads
in reach of all ten fingertips,
a decad's reach, of sorts, while I
complete the Bibles final Book,
for 'Here is Wisdom',
ours to heed,
ours to need-
come Judgement Day.
