Come To Me My Love Poem by Modupeola Williams

Come To Me My Love

Rating: 5.0

My arms await your arms
Come to me my love
Though I may be dark as a raven
So unlike you my dove

My lips await your lips
Come to me my love
Though the world may laugh and jeer
Let us fly above

My eyes await your eyes
Come to me my love
Those eyes that see me for what I am
A pearl within a glove

All of me awaits you
Come to me my love
When the golden sun shines it's brightest
Come my most beloved

Though the world may stare and sneer
Turn their heads away
Come, be not afraid
In a world of our own we'll stay

Come in the light of day, I say
Lest I turn you away
Come to me...
Come my love
For my arms await
