Come To Terms Poem by Cee Bea

Come To Terms

I have come to terms with

and have been able to visualize
space as fabric

that the stars as they fade
by relative terms of size,
leave with great abandon
in no uncertain fashion,
trying to test its true tension

I gaze into a world
found by filter,
it resembles, at every turn
the world I see before my eyes
from dusk till dawn

They played the sound
of a place they know nothing about.
To me, it
looks like time immemorial, but they did not think...
it made a sound. (and I know better)

I was grateful to have had
Heard the interpretive.

I was then left only to wonder, how can we sit here
in/on our world
trembling,
shaking
as this Universe, in constant motion
survives in a state
between being broken and being born,
yet hear nothing

I care about the interpretive,
the numbers, the if, who's, what, where and when of it all.

There is so much

and I am just a man,
who wonders of every connection
