Come To The Wild Woods Poem by Josephine Dunn

Come To The Wild Woods

Rating: 5.0

Will you come to the wild woods with me?
The wild woods where once we lay together.

Come to the wild woods,
Where the sun is hot on your back
And the damp grass tickles mine.

Come to the wild woods
Where there is laughter in the distance
And the waters of a clear stream
Flow unseen.

Come to the wild woods
Where green leaves hide us with their coolness,
And the heat of our bodies brings flies
To the smell of our lovemaking.

Come to the wild woods,
Oh, come in the wild woods with me.

A tempting theme shaping love scenically. The lovely celerity in response to nature call has been described in simple words.
