Come True Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Come True

'Good morrow!' breathed the Blossom.
'Good morrow!' flushed the Dawn.
'Where were you, dear, before the light?
For I was dreaming all the night
That we should meet anon,
To drink a dewdrop here to-day,
And then together pass away.'
