Come Unto Me Poem by Gary James Smith

Come Unto Me

Rating: 5.0

Oftimes He fills our plate with cares
So we may come to Him
Bring our burdens to His feet
And worship Him again.

O Lord You're so mighty
So mighty to deliver
We stand in awe and contemplate
With an Amen! We have as quiver.

You who are All Knowing
The Beginning and the End
Have given us the framework
Since we've been born again.

You, our Sure Foundation
Our Hope, our Help, our Home
Orchestrating our daily lives
Straight from Heavens throne.

In the presence of the angels
Your mission is displayed
Played out, on earths surface
By the Hand through which it was made.

The elements and matter
They beckon to Your call
They come in dutiful obedience
They come... one and all.

We ask Thee Lord to use us
As beacons on the way
To be the lighthouse to our friends
And those who've gone astray.

Keep us in Thy presence
Ministering by Thy Spirit
Come unto Me, all ye who labor
Come unto Me, now hear it.
