Comfortable Poem by David Harris

Comfortable

Rating: 5.0

There are times when you meet someone,
a stranger
and instantly you feel
comfortable in their company.
You feel there is something special there,
a gift you cannot deny.
You want to hug them every morning
and keep them close at hand
making them your very special friend.
It may not happen often,
but when it does, you know
and want them as part of your life
forever
even though you live
thousands of miles apart.

I love even the title of this David - - so apt - - it is as comfortable as a pair of old slippers to be in the company of some - and distance matters not at all.... a fine verse - - 10 + + + Fay
