Coming Apart At The Seams Poem by Dyna Misery

Coming Apart At The Seams

This was once such a pretty dress
I was all dolled up to impress
But denied of his caress
I guess it couldn't take the stress

Coming apart at the seams
Ignoring my screams

The first to go was the lace
Only there for the style and grace
It started slowly falling from place
Until my anger increased the pace

There was no way I could mend
I couldn't even comprehend
The rate the threads snapped
and the fabric unwrapped

Soon I am standing
Exposed and understanding
That everyone could see
The naked insanity of me
