What can one comment
About these days?
What is worth commentary?
And what is worth praise?

The world is leaders and followers
The leaders lead the talk
The followers follow
And in the end they walk.

The world is lopsided with money
Those on the heavier side just stare
They'd like to help but hey
They just can't be everywhere

Those in the middle still pull the tightrope
Hoping they'd reach the other side
Those who already there just smile
And say "It's okay. Just one more ride"

They hide behind the smiles of the tears
They're unable to show their true selves
They once needed a shoulder and a cheer
But how soon do we forget when forget fear

True today may not be true tomorrow
What remains are the people you pick along the way
They were in your joy and more in your sorrow
That's why they disappeared they were invited to stay
