Communication Poem by Michael Morris

Communication

Rating: 5.0

Communication
To ring a friend we know is sad
To share good news when we are glad
These things we do without a thought
Of how our forebears, knowing nought
Of telephones or mobile text,
Would surely in some way be vexed
That all these wonders wepossess
Still don't ensure our happiness.
Could it be? I sometimes ponder,
Distance makes the heart grow fonder?
