Companions On A Journey Poem by Michael Nkwocha

Companions On A Journey

Rating: 5.0

We are all companions together
for we journey through life to eternity
in life no one walks alone
for the Father's love has made us one.
though tribe and tongue may differ
and race and colour divide
the truth it is that we are one
we came from God, we're going to Him.
Our life's burdens get quite easier
when shared with one another
on earth we're wayfarers
let's live as such and be happy.
Let's strive to build a better world
with hearts set on the world to come
and while we wait in peace and quiet
let hearts and minds be set on love
for we are all heading homeward
we're companions on a journey.
