Complete Me

Can you hear the longing
From the rhythm of my heart?
Beating drums within me
Have been calling since the start

The music lives within me now
I cannot let it go
The beat will play a billion times
Before it starts to slow

I’ll call upon the minstrel
To mend the aching pain
But even after tuning
They’ll fail to dim the rain

And so here I will surrender
To the one who holds the key
I’ll be yours in whole forever
If you’ll do the same for me
