Completely Shaken Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I saw her completely shaken
Mentally unstable and bodily broken
As if hell was let loose on her
Whole world was for her to bother

No doubt it was cruel joke
Her future was in complete smoke
She had absolutely no idea of cruel blow
It was painful and had come in very slow

First no one informed her about tragedy
That her friend was in grave condition and unsteady
His pulses were sinking very fast
At any moment he will be about to last

She had inkling about impeding danger
She had lot more to tell with anger
Why fate had played such game?
Why she was only picked by the name?

Soon she will be left alone?
He will be already away and gone
What will be her future without shield?
What will be she doing in those green field?

She had wore white cloth as mark of grieving
None of the stories are meant for believing?
Now she has to face rough weather and stand?
Who will take her care and understand?

Thousands of thoughts crossed her mind
She was no where near and in position to find
The fate had deceived her and acted unkind
Now future stood bleak for darkness only behind

I shall overcome all shocks
She asserted boldly while soaked
This is not the time to shed tears
All pain and agony is there to bear

Let cruel hands not reach to me
Let me brace up and again feel free
The sky has limit so I shall stand again
He is no more but his efforts will not go in vain
