it is easy to incite anger
rare are composed patient wise
compassionate peacemakers

such beautiful rare souls are miracles
in our memories lives inspirations
peace makers carry us in our broken days

only in love can we restore hope peace
to those afflicted grieved suffering around us
only love offers a hope of peace in our world

too many have known horrific suffering
to few strive to stem tsunami waves
of hate with restorative redemption love

we who have known gentle
strong determined peace makers
are restored rekindled

in the warmth love inspirations
of their beloved inspiring memories
we carry their flame warm other hearts
