Concept Of Not Being There Poem by Louemile Escober

Concept Of Not Being There

Rating: 5.0

I'm cursed from the life of sorrow
Unspoken words unleashes through their voices
Voices that cannot be seen with my eyes
Conceive the last stand as cold as ice

Crying in a corner in this dark catacomb
Judge me for all eternity to empower
With great assumption to decimate my soul
Doubting existence soar to infinity

My heroes born to pretend, to love
Holding by the ropes till the end of the storm
Take me to unravel the wings of mystery
Illuminating through this sad existence

Crying with all pain I see in this room
Crying by the ropes till the end of time
Crying as the brood walks through the land
Crying while writing in my puerile mind

Sit beside me as I'm full of lie
Voice of all the angels scream upon my name
Sadness in this world to carry
Roots of the soil fall to its knees

Before this day come to an end
Remembering the past to rise from the earth
Resurrected by the hatred within me
Corpses who sing just to hear my plea

Roar upon this feeble life of mine
Storm of the illuminated one descent upon you
Step by step, concept by concept and word by word
An apparition walks through the horizon

Beautiful poem and well constructed. I like the construction part of it. You managed to put so much emotions in different stanzas and in the end, you came up with a killer line. well done

Wow, and that last line is great. Great images come to mind.
