Concepts 13 Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Concepts 13

Talk not your way when two fools are engaged in conversation
Talk not in between when two intellectuals immersed in argument
Stamp of approval for your opinion will never occur anyway in both the cases
Silence is the shield you wear to bear the times till you share your views

A count of particles of sand in desert possible with marathon efforts
A count of stars of celestial sky is possible with herculean efforts
A count of rain drops that fall on earth possible with determined efforts
Highly impossible is to read the minds of others and controlling our own

Conscious is the best judge to judge ourselves
Flaws inside is known to oneself not to others
Be wise enough to weed of the vices on your own
Lest when we become old vices become youthful

Deceiving ourselves always and deceitful to others at times
Is what most of us bask upon behind the mask of materialism
Living on ideas that are pirated we want to live life of high rated
Content is a distant dream as one can not ignore demands of near and dear

Life gets complicated when mind gets unduly implicated
Many a reasons are indicated but nothing remains vindicated
Craves the mind for things unattainable even through forbidden ways
Content remains a distant dream in a world that runs after veiled vagaries

I am impressed. It is a great amount of content with common sense.

Valid views well presented. If you don't go through again for a little self editing.

Beautiful concepts. Silence is the shield you wear. Concepts keep on increasing and this is reflected in lines getting longer.
