Condolences Poem by Aidan Jasperson

Condolences

My condolences
Go to those who have lost their mothers, wives, kids
Such outrage is the statement 'good ridance'
when talking about the death of a holy presence
an empty essence
fills the heart with gloom
but soon
realization will consume one
they will resume living
without a single swoon
everything happens for a reason they say
even if at the time it seems of great doom
