Condone all crimes

Say no words of regret
Just internally repent
As you were heavenly sent
Not for merry making time to be spent

You were only allowed
To be sincerely followed
All his commands within limit
“Love to all when time came to greet”

You exhausted all ample chances
They were given at once
To wake up in time
And improve upon with passage of time

There were hindrances
With lots of hardships
I knew you may error
Yet it was granted with honor

Now at the last leg of journey
You are calling me as “Almighty”
Filled with grief as last resort
To escape result when time came to report

Not prayers alone were needed
The commands too could have been heeded
You were aware of the consequences
But waited in futile for the chances

“Oh dear child, you are all forgiven”
You knew life was uncertain and end may be sudden
Remember only one thing at a time
“ kindness at heart and love” will condone all crimes

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
