Disciples follow Jesus’ way
Branches of God’s true Vine
Serving The Truth both night and day
Chosen as light to shine


Though here to land or foreign shores
Through Jesus’ royal decree
Apostles are sent to open doors
To set God’s children free


Evangelists are on the move
All gifts and talents theirs
Aiming the world their Lord to prove
And show He truly cares


Pastors are shepherds, serving sheep
Ordained by Jesus’ hand
Guiding to Christ, their souls to keep
Teaching to understand


Informing sheep what each should do
Enlightening God’s elect
Conduit to His chosen few
The prophet stands erect


Leaders of praise bring songs and psalms
Lifting on high God’s Son
Exalting the love in Jesus’ arms
Life’s battles to be won


The rank and file of Christ The Lord
God’s echelon of Light
In hand God’s shield His righteous sword
In armour shining bright


God cultivates till strong and sound
Refined by Jesus’ hand
Strategic plants in hallowed ground
Waiting their Lord’s command…
