Confidence is like the calabash
For drinking water and storing wine
And like the calabash
Confidence is refined
And fragile too 5
Not hostile but
Too timid to
Withstand a hurt.

Within the heart
Which is a balm 10
Confidence is quiet
Within the hearth
Where there is calm
Calabash aids diet
But at click to coax a doubt or clash 15
Confidence cracks just like the calabash.
