Confidence Shades Promotes Poem by Terence George Craddock

Confidence Shades Promotes

artists sketch small drawings
spiral across pages faith is lines
fast drawn sketched at lightning speed

what from artists pencils
lead formed must spring flying
forth from pencil tip lines

artist confident or suppressed
hidden shadow work or exhibit displayed?
confidence shades promotes

which emotions features?
in many professions age works
against us strength ebbs

body slows but consider old
man artistist bold sweeping
aside time constraints capturing

with picture word strokes
limp or body rhythm supple
dignity age focuses countless

fleet forms years viewing
stiffening bones perceive what
it is to be young character line true

while young cliche guesses
age shadow expressions
symbiosis knows experience

read contrast perceived
slide show life images moving
sketch on seasoned artist

oblivious in sought silence living
in rapid details flooding
receptive page soaking

up mind eye details
life mirror etched
into paper in pencil

blur lightning
strokes sure
image creating
