Connie And Me Poem by cheryl davis miller

Connie And Me

Rating: 5.0

This is a poem,
concerning Connie and me.
Two grannies,
who like to share poetry.
We write and we pray
seem odd some would say.
Tho different we share
simularaties.

We both have seen hard times,
and some how muddled through,
seeking guidance from above,
to know what to do.
We both have had good men,
and our children are grown,
we agree our grandchildren,
are the best seed we've sown.

When we become stressful,
or perhaps battle doubt,
we grab pen and paper,
and we write it out.
Some how in the searching,
and wrestling with words,
a peaceful time follows,
as we hear the Lord's words.

You know He is not silent,
He's a talker you see, ,
and the Source of the Poet,
in Connie and me.
