Conquering Our Roller Coaster Poem by Kimberly Hope

Conquering Our Roller Coaster

From the smooth open country roads to
the cities slick icy roads.
We've had our days.
Many ups and downs we've conquered
in proving people wrong that we really can last
and make it through anything that life is to throw at us.
We've grown and matured so much together
in the past eight months.
It's gone unnoticed:
but it's been a very happy, untameable,
exotic time on our wild rollercoaster.
One by one we have proven to people
that our love is true
and not that of a pups.
We are simply romancing intimately in our love.
Day by day, and night by night.
We shine bright like no other
has ever known my love.

Now that it's almost time to add
another passenger to our seat though,
we both know the roller coaster we've been riding on
has found it's rock,
and so we're both prepared for our newest,
rocky little monkey.
Together we have made jaws drop,
with our newest challenge upon us,
lets run hard and hit it all head first.
