Contentment Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Contentment

Content am I to think in Life
That things will change for me,
Though up to now I've been better off,
But my Faith will constant be.

Content am I ~ though not rich,
But wealth is not the 'be and end all'
For 'Richness in Spirit' is better than wealth,
And success will eventually me befall.

Content with my lot ~ but mindful of HIM,
Knowing HE'll see me O.K.
Although I do stumble day after day,
HE'll make certain to the surface I do swim.

Drowning with problems, Solutions not found,
Finding my way in the storm,
Surely a Raven is yet to be seen,
After the current financial thunderstorm.

Contentment is found constantly,
With Family, Friends and with HIM,
Enjoying Good Health, but not all the time,
While I live my Life determined by HIM.
