Contrast Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Contrast

Contrast

Pink, rosy and red are
The nipples of the branch
As are the nipples of a cat, swine
Pregnant; swollen belly out, forward

Soon

Buds crack and slice, as a water-break
In the dog so puppies slide out, no eye
Slippery-bright; its pigeon-child-blind
Bulges-black on head; bald

Green leaves will come out as will the
Soft petals in colors, flowers
Background blue sky
