So you set your life
And define your limits
You curb your way
Along your ambitions
And say to Him thus:
These affairs I give you
These you can touch
The rest I keep myself
The rest are off-limit
And, you plan your life
Map and plot your way
Along set arrangements

He who loves you best
Gladly rearranges them
Disrupts your priorities
Disturbs your set course
Disorganizes your plans
Till you’ve learned truly
That you are wholly His
And all aspect your life
Your career and hobbies
Your plans and aspirations
Your whole being

And your desires satisfied
And your longing fully met
