Conversation With God

O playful God!

I am your submissive puppet

but I ought to be unhappy

stereotyped to perform

dejected, gloomy, despondent

Be fair with me

give me a chance

audition me

I can make you glee

in your darkest hour

I will bestow you laughter and joy

lessen your pain with my blissful act

we both unaware of my
million dollar smile

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
