Countryside View Poem by Meetika Srivastava

Siesta in countryside,
swans playing poolside.
Flipping and flapping wings in waters,
splashing the scorching heats away.
Moms and Dads watching kids at play.
In the green fields nature’s blossoming straightaway.
The herbs; the shrubs; the orchids; the lilies are all blooming,
whilst the winds flowing.
Quacking ducks, chuckling birds, buzzing bees and howling beasts.
Soaring oaks, heaven- reaching palms, flying larches and greening pines,
amidst the woods growing.
