What defines courage and a courageous act?
Even courageous ones can be scared it’s a fact
The brave face their fear whatever may come
So they can do what really needs to be done
Life brings so much that may scare throughout our lives
But I hope I’ll be courageous and the one that really tries
Though I’m not the most courageous person of them all
But I’m trying tiny baby steps they are so small
These I find hard but others may conquer with ease
And some may on times bring me to my knees
But each time we face our fears we will see
We become more of the courageous person we’d like to be
