Creative Space Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Creative Space

Rating: 5.0

Can you just let me have peace of mind?
Is there a small compact place I can find?
My ears have heard all of what you say.
I have heard it more than ten times a day!

I know the verses very well and could recite
When you finally stop, I say, 'You are right.'
Fully satisfied, you nod and give me a break.
Nervous tension clears, avoiding a headache.

You don’t seem to understand that I need space.
It is essential for me to create in my own place.
Once I have realized my goal, I am ready to deal.
I could even listen to you play the glockenspiel.

You are so right. Nice rhyme of deal and glockenspiel.
