Creed Of The Chairborne Ranger Poem by Jojoba Mansell

Creed Of The Chairborne Ranger

I am a Chairborne Ranger, this poem is my creed,
I sit safely on my sofa, I know I’ll never bleed.
My aim you’ll find unerring, my sniping is sublime,
I am a Chairborne Ranger, I go to war online.

My battle field, Team Deathmatch, I stalk around alone,
I am lethal whether running, crouching or lying prone.
I always use assault weapons, I customise my class,
I am silent as a ninja, and when reloading deadly fast.

But while I’m gaming safely, as happy as can be,
out fighting in the real world, real soldiers keep me free.
So this here Chairborne Ranger will keep them in my heart,
I’ll think of all their bravery as in battles they take part.

Now listen Chairborne Rangers, let this poem be your creed,
for all our freedoms, they’ll fight, they’ll sweat and they’ll bleed.
Keep those brave souls within your hearts when next you play the game,
without their many sacfrifices, our world wouldn’t be the same.
