Cresent Smile Poem by Howard Johnson

Cresent Smile

I know you
Life caged within my world
Dim light provides a hiding
For evel shadows
Multiplys their hidden faces
Peace on the corner
The cresent in your smile

My forhead bleeds
The brow of bitterness
O lost in self
Within my self alone
Still far finds
The Wounds and scars
On heels tired feet
Rustling rest and sleeplessness
Winter gives way to blooms in spring
Left behind forgotten madness
In the darkness by my mind
