Cross Heart Poem by Scarletto Michuru

Cross Heart

You were the angel in my dreams
Feathered wings of white
Our love was the cross heart
Untouched by the sin of truth

And you were the shadow in the light cast upon me
Even though the world would fall apart
Such holy pain in my heart,
As you, the unearthly goddess that I saw that night
In heaven and on earth
As much as we were apart
Sweet fire burned my heart

You were the light that bound me to fate
Like the heat of the sun
So did our love grow
In my heart there was no place for a shadow
To cast you from me
Like the sunrise that made me feel so sorrowful
So did the snow wake me by the blissful brightness
