Crucify My Mind - Poem by Göran Gustafsson

You're the light and the darkness
The moon and the sun
The life in the summer
And the death from a gun

You're the particle and the wave
The difference and the same
The one and the many
And the ashes and the flame

You're the good and the evil
The beauty and the beast
The time and the space
From the west unto the east

You're the day that will come
Like a thief from behind
When you break into my garden
To crucify my mind

VERSION #2.

You are light and darkness
Moon and sun
The life in summer
And death from a gun
You are particle and wave
The difference and the same
The one and the many
And ashes and flame
You are good and evil
Beauty and beast
You are time and space
From west unto east
You are days that will come
Like a thief from behind
When you break into my garden
To crucify my mind
