Crumbling Down Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Crumbling Down

It's been some time now... the pain draws me out.
Here, basking in confusion, deception and self-doubt.

Believing in fiction... the truth masked in shades of gray.
Reality is crumbling down on me in the worse way.

I write... wanting to put this all behind.
Taken in by a twisted and obsessive state of mind.

The character of a child or not a child, by far.
The phantom of a deranged cell-block mate,
on a collision course with a rising star.

Make her ascension cease to be,
at any cost, seek and destroy her personality.
Bring her low, ... you know the tricks,
let the walls come crumbling down and bury her
underneath the bricks.

This seemed to be the ultimate plan of a
corrupt person couldn't call him a man.
Whatever he was or how he came to be,
this episode holds crude closure for me!

Never get to close when befriending anyone,
be careful, look long and then run! ! !

Don't get caught-up and let your emotions give in,
don't find yourself in a beguiling serpent's den! ! !

Stop the crumbling down effect, , , change the detour of plans.

Flee quickly and with all haste! !

So the devil's son or daughter's fangs,
won't have you, to taste! ! !
