Crumbling Walls Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Crumbling Walls

Some little walls of England
Which stretch from shore to shore
Are covered in moss and algae
As they crumble more and more.

Those outdated walls of England
Cast gloom on our sunny view.
But we will tend them and rebuild them,
And make England look brand new.
