Crying Poem by Eugene Mattingly

Crying

Rating: 4.5

It's raining in my heart
the drops are falling,
falling from my eyes
the pain to wash away

Memories still abide
some will never fade
tears are indelible
their meant to leave a stain

As time slowly passes
and the healing begins
images sink into a sea,
a sea of forgetfulness

Never to be remembered
forever they shall stay
and as the Daystar arises
Rejoice - in a brand new day.
