Crystal Clear Departure Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

A crystal clear departure,
And an obvious rupture
Of veins and vines that envelope my body
The helix alters itself, so as to diminish the aftermath

Goodbye my love, I only exist in your fantasy
Not in eyes that dose like trees in the mountains
Not like the rivers that flow endlessly while sleeping
But like the smoke after the spew, disappearing in midair.

So hold me for a minute,
Let go forever,
Breathing is long and painstaking
And oblivion is abrupt and distressing.

Kneel in prayers for my return,
Or utter and pry, should I turn and stare?
Perhaps not in this time, in another dwelling

Where the only faces we recognize are our own selves.
Do not weep, nor break in dispair
For my love has been, and will be as pure as the air
That you breathe in for a lifetime, until your demise

My passing is only the beginning of your restoration.
The Sunrise tells you that you are in bliss avenue,
The happiness you seek is within you,
Break these chains that bind you, and at least

Find someone who would put stainless chains on you.
Our time, a broken glass
And I am your unmanned vessel
Drifting away from you, way away
Waive proudly, with eyes beaming forth.
