Cupid's Arrows Were Poisoned Poem by Piscine Kipling

Cupid's Arrows Were Poisoned

I use to love you more everyday and its slipping away
Times are getting right and the night shines with a little less moonlight,
And when I look up its not so pleasant, our romance created from heaven,
The passion is burning up and we find ourselves with less love,
Once I remembered a snowy December dawn in bed together,
Now I just remember the cold and dark weather,
I can't fight with you anymore so I'll just fold my cards,
Our pictures are torn and the frames are now shards,
The river we once sailed has forgotten us in its flow,
The water isn't to blame since we have turned into stone,
Its no wonder the world and everything in it is ignored,
Since love won't let you look into anyone's face anymore
